Job Description |
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
• Lead the recruitment and selection process for the plant/factory and corporate function,
ensuring the timely hiring of skilled and qualified personnel
• Ensuring smooth onboarding including joining formalities and documentation.
• Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective
workforce plans.
2. Employee Relations:
• Handle employee relations matters, address grievances, and ensure a positive work
environment.
• Handle absenteeism related cases for permanent workmen
• Address and resolve employee concerns, maintaining strong communication channels.
• Knowledge & experience in managing disciplinary actions
• Managing day-to-day Employee Relations activities in a very peaceful and amicable
manner thus ensuring Industrial peace within the organization and ensuring zero-man hour loss due to any IR issues
• Conducting engagement activities for the blue collar workers
• Ensuring smooth functioning of welfare activities
3. Performance Management:
• Develop and oversee performance management systems, including goal setting,
regular evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Identify and address performance issues in collaboration with department managers.
4. Training and Development:
• Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Implement career development initiatives to support employee growth within the
organization.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and
alignment with industry standards.
• Conduct salary surveys and recommend adjustments as needed.
6. Compliance:• Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.
• Filing and maintaining statutory data like PF, ESIC, Annual and Half yearly returns, etc
• Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Liaison with agencies on statutory compliance |
