Projects: 

 Assist Manager – Instrumentation to execute instrumentation systems installations for projects to facilitate on-time completion while ensuring quality standards

Maintenance Operations:

 Identify methods to improve the overall efficiency and functioning of the instrumentation department on an ongoing basis

 Supervise the provision of ongoing maintenance support to the plant for all shifts

 Assist Manager, Instrumentation in the implementation of instrumentation equipment maintenance systems and improvement projects

 Ensure updating of all preventive maintenance checklists and history cards in a timely manner

 Ensure execution of predictive and preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule, after doing the planning with details of activities, manpower requirements and spares, within minimum time frame and budgets

 Execute breakdown maintenance activities, if and when required and assist in minimizing downtime and loss of productivity

 Take regular stock of the status of instrumentation systems and equipments for the areas/equipment’s assigned

 Assist Manager – Instrumentation in creation of requirements listing and indents, quality and specifications for instrumentation systems and equipment to be sourced for various maintenance needs

 Prepare shift schedules for maintenance fitters

 Follow up with the procurement department for timely arrangement of spares

Records and Reports:

 Assist Manager – Instrumentation in preparation of daily Maintenance MIS

 Ensure preparation and updating all equipment history cards and checklists
